Dentistry with purpose

“Every day I come into the office, I am excited because I know that I can change a patient's life.”

For Dr. Asemota, changing a life may mean relieving someone's pain, replacing missing teeth, restoring a smile, or helping a patient feel healthier and more confident. Her goal is to understand what each person needs and provide thoughtful care that supports both their oral health and quality of life.

Her path to dentistry

Dr. Asemota earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. While attending UCLA, she spent her summers working in a dental office and became fascinated by the connection between oral health and a person's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

That experience inspired her to pursue dentistry as a career. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California.

“I was fascinated by the way a person's oral health was connected to their overall well-being — physically, mentally, and emotionally.”

Creating supportive patient relationships

Dr. Asemota understands that many people arrive at the dental office feeling nervous or anxious. She and her team take time to listen, communicate clearly, and move at a pace that feels comfortable for each patient.

Their goal is to create supportive, lasting relationships so patients feel welcomed, respected, and cared for — not judged or lectured. By getting to know the person behind the smile, the team works to make every dental experience feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

What she loves about her work

The relationships Dr. Asemota develops with her patients are among the most meaningful parts of her work. She genuinely enjoys hearing about their lives, learning from them, and caring for their individual dental needs.

“Not a day goes by that I don't enjoy talking with my patients about their lives, discovering new things from them, and taking care of their dental needs with the empathy and compassion they deserve.”
